Pluie/Noir is finally back with a two-track EP from Vlad Caia.
Swan Lake shows with finesse his staggering skills to craft cinematographic atmospheres in danceable patterns, bending musical styles and constantly reminding us that club music can be so much more. Both sides share the same classical-inspired background while still being quite different in mood and lightness. Striking at 14 minutes each, the progression on these tracks remain sophisticated and visionary, messing with your head and heart in unexpected ways.
‘Swan Lake’ is a delicate yet striking piece, with a precise yet unusual drum-programming and intelligent classical-music sampling. The flip-side ‘Eternal Sunshine’ is a darker toned track, with slight-flashes of acid in it’s core bass-line and ever-lifting tense chords that unexpectedly rumble between the intense atmosphere and lift both your body and soul.
Artwork was handpainted by designer Max Binski, Pluie/Noir’s curator and art director.

Kazuma EP is Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia’s latest work but in the combined form of SIT (Sideways Invisibility Theory). On the A side we have the mangled and elegant groove of “Moai” which presents a wide array of textures, clicks along with a very playful bass line. On the B side “Mazuka” presents a haunting ambience, composed of complex pads and other elements, that evolves throughout, kept steady by an exquisite mix of electronic and acoustic percussion elements working in tandem with hypnotic distant vocals. Kazuma EP will be out soon on Naural.
Romar and Ravzan, from Switzerland, have launch RORA label project at the end of 2011, with a strike EP who involved artist as sunrise guys Kozonak also know as Kozo, Vlad Caia, romenian upcoming artist Faster, then MP, from marsomatic, and for the new one, three pieces of their own production.
All record contains more than 30 minutes of pure minimal experience.

– How it’ s start? and how was before RORA? what’s the beckground?
Hey ! long story short we are just two guys who merely love and feel music !
We started to mix, produce and collect vinyls a few years ago and decided to launch our own record label in order to promote our vision and to share our passion for music.
We thought creating our record label would allow us to bring something to the community and to raise awareness about our music and our artist’s music.
RORA also serves as a platform to introduce new upcoming artists and to organize label nights representing our style and universe.
We also took the decision to release vinyl only (limited pressing) without releasing digital versions of the tracks.This is how we see deejaying !
– In addition to those we have already seen on last releases, are there other artists involved in RORA?
Of course, there will be more artists involved in RORA. We’re not in a hurry to release but try to pick the right artists and the right tracks. Less is more ! In other words, we aim to stay consistent and to include artists that fit our mentality, vision and philosophy.
As we said, RORA is also here to give new talents an opportunity to release their music.

After two solo EP’s on their Amphia imprint, Vlad Caia and Cristi Cons morph their forces into a sonic masterpiece. Still keeping their sound minimal the SIT duo deliver a two track gem. The orchestral sounds in Channelling keep the atmosphere light, housy and very danceble yet. On the other side the haunted synths and percussion in Ex seem to lead you through a tunnel, most likely a techno one. Morphoza is pressed in 500 copies.
