This release marks a brand new era for Ferox Records, back after a break of 5 years. Too Funk is one of the guises of label boss Russ Gabriel and this 2 tracker follows the housier grooves of previous Too Funk releases from the 90’s – ‘Hotel Ibis’, ‘Return of Too Funk’ and ‘Too Funk to Funk’. After more recent excursions on Mobilee, Dieb Audio, Belgium’s We Play House and Chicago’s Large Music this is Russ’ first EP on Ferox since Fusion’s ‘Funk at Five’ back in 1997….more details to follow.
