DADAME (aKa Dario Damerini) arrives in an unique state of maturity behind the decks, he is able to express it from the studio on this EP. It is no secret that Dario is the ambassador of the grooviest old school House sound in Barcelona, his work reveals the way he is and his own experience with the machines. After releasing some dope tracks on other labels, this is his first vinyl in solo.

Smooth and hypnotic, “Escape” is the thread of this EP, an ode to the dance floor. The arpeggio from his Juno is Dario’s way off to another level.

“People Boogie” is Dario in his purest state. Samples from Soul, Disco, some gut cutting pads and a percussion beat; this is his recipe. The mood is set for the warm-up.

Never quitting the deepness from the other tracks, “piano 99” is 90’s American House influenced bomb. Piano, Chords and Bass melt themselves perfectly with a badass 909 instrumental. This is Dadame.

On the other side, Fred P‘s famous “Reshape”  it is a modern track. The fusion between his past with Black Jazz Consortium flavored mood and influences for his new incursions in Techno. Dub riddims “Rhythm & Sound” style on a mental beat with pads from the unique deepness that only Fred P could deliver. The perfect balance between House and Techno that we appreciate so much at Monkey Bar.

New York’s borned and raised Fred Peterkin needs no introduction to the electronic music  world. Having released on labels like Underground Quality, Strength Music, Mule Electronic and his own Soul People Music, AHD welcomes him after being fans of his music for years already and this EP is no exception to his extreme and unique quality. “Reach” on the A side is a total dancefloor burner. One of the best tracks we’ve heard lately. Keeps building from start to the end, having the peaking point when the arpeggio comes up fading in at the middle of the track. B side, “In the blue”, is the deep cut of the record and its a perfect example of Freds dubby and warm feeling. Check it out!

I guess we dont have many words to describe this new Esperanza in which we are proud to present On This Vibe from the one and only Fred P (Black Jazz Consortium) and a delightful remix by Sistrums favourite Patrice Scott. The original track is an amazing late night Detroit ride which evolves slowly until it makes you feel floating on clouds. It may last 10 minutes but it s absolutely the kind of track you would want to be endless. On the flipside, Patrice makes some twists and turns to the original track to put his own trademark signatures delivering another breath-taking emotional space walk. We are proud to release this record and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
